The Covid-19 pandemic has added a significant burden on students across the country. Online classes, assignments, and exams have become quite challenging. To assist students during these difficult times, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) has launched, ‘Bandhu’ (a friend in need), a website that helps students address various problems, and help them maintain their mental wellbeing.

It is an initiative of IIT-B’s batch of 1992.

The website addresses several issues such as procrastination, exam stress, fear of failure, peer pressure, discrimination, internet addiction, and a wide range of mental health issues. They have also shared a few effective techniques for relaxation and dealing with stress.

There are also some fun quizzes and stories from the alumni and narrations that lead to self-discovery.

This was indeed the need of the hour, and ‘Bandhu’ came right at the rescue!

Mental health should be the #1 priority for all at this time. And if you too are on a lookout for ways to de-stress, you can listen to our meditation music here and here to relax.
