The Jaipur Literature Festival is back! Since the inception of the festival Diggi Palace has been the venue of all the activities and interactions. All the sessions are held in the Durbar Hall and the gardens of this glorious palace. The literary festival is scheduled to take place from the 19-28 February. The festival directors are Namita Gokhale and William Dalrymple and it is executed by Sanjoy Roy of Teamwork Arts. The festival usually begins in the month of January but due to the pandemic it has been pushed to February this year. Apart from the slight delay the festival is also going to be held online so you can enjoy it from any corner of the world.
The events will be divided into two categories, i.e., events happening on the Front Lawn and events happening in the mighty Durbar Hall.

Over the years, related events have also taken place under the brand of JLF International in Boulder,Colorado ; Houston, Texas ; Adelaide, Australia; the British Library in London and New York City. The festival is an initiative of the Jaipur Virasat Foundation founded by Faith Singh, originally as a segment of the Jaipur Heritage International Festival in 2006 and developed into a free-standing festival of literature standing on its own feet in 2008. All the events are free and not ticketed.
